Circle K opens brand new M6 service station
Circle K's latest service station has opened its doors in Athlone on the M6 motorway. The state-of-the-art store is part of an overall €35m investment into four new sites, alongside a Circle K in Kildare and the company's largest site worldwide in Gorey, Co. Wexford.

Circle K has opened its newest motorway services area, the Circle K M6 Athlone, located on the M6 motorway between Junctions 7 and 8 in Athlone, Co. Westmeath. More than 30 new jobs have been created in the area, and the site is expected to cater to up to 20,000 motorists daily.
The Circle K M6 Athlone marks a significant addition to the Circle K network of service stations. Strategically located on the M6 Dublin/Galway Road, it is expected that the new state-of-the-art site will cater for up to 20,000 motorists daily.An official opening celebration was held at the new forecourt, attended by Circle K senior management, local political dignitaries and a host of new customers, took place with a wide range of special offers available in store.
The opening is part of a wider investment into the development of four new sites. In the past year, Circle K has unveiled new sites on the N7 at Kill North, Co. Kildare, and on the M11 at Gorey, Co. Wexford, with a further new site set to be opened on the M9 at Kilcullen, Co. Kildare next month.
