Aldi Ireland has agreed a new €1.8M contract extension with Folláin, who are currently supplying Aldi Ireland with a range of relish, chutney and sauces. 

Folláin has since expanded its range to include a variety of relish, chutney, sauces, and condiments solidifying their position as a supplier within the industry. This year, the company celebrates 40 years making products, employing approximately 50 people in their West Cork facility. 

This year, its Specially Selected Ploughman’s Chutney (€1.89) won Gold at the Irish Quality Food and Drinks Awards, while its specially Selected Chipotle Ketchup (€2.19) and Specially Selected Irish Sweet Tomato Relish (€1.89) won Silver and Bronze accolades respectively at the 2023 Blas na hÉireann awards. All products are available in Aldi’s 160 stores.

John Curtin, group buying director, Aldi Ireland, said: “We have been working with Folláin for 20 years and their commitment to award winning quality and innovative products aligns with Aldi’s mission. We look forward to providing our customers with exceptional products through this long-term partnership.”
