Representatives from across Ireland's retail industry gathered in Dublin last night for the annual Grocery Management Awards, at which Kate Walsh of Herlihy’s Centra Fermoy was named 2015 Retail Manager of the Year

Almost 300 distinguished guests from across Ireland’s retail industry gathered in Dublin’s Royal Marine Hotel last night for the annual Grocery Management Awards, honouring management excellence in all areas of the industry, from deli, bakery and off-license management to supplier and customer services and more.

Rugby pundit and television personality Brent Pope was the MC on the night, and he entertained the audience with memories of Rugby World Cups past and his own history as a player, before getting down to the important business of announcing the overall winners in 18 categories.

The big winner on the night was Kate Walsh of Herlihy’s Centra Fermoy, who won two awards in recognition for her excellence in retail management. Hearty congratulations to her from all involved.
