Ireland’s largest independent public relations and issues management agency, Murray Consultants has launched a new consumer and brands division named MC2. Motiviated by the firm’s growing client list of powerhouse brands, it created the dedicated arm as a full-service brand communications agency, staffed by a talented team from diverse backgrounds.

In addition, the agency has established a strategic partnership with Niall O’Driscoll and Andrew Jenkinson (co-founders of DigitalMarketingSchool.ie), who are leading experts in the area of digital marketing and thought leadership, and have proven expertise in the areas of online communications campaigns and evolving digital platforms.

The newly formed MC2 also enjoys a close working relationship with two seasoned specialists in the area of marketing strategy and retail marketing, Mark Ody and Alison Hunter. Ody has 20 years’ international marketing experience in major organisations, including 13 years as marketing director of Diageo. Hunter meanwhile has 15 years’ experience in retail marketing including a period spent in a senior marketing role with Superquinn.

The new brand identity for MC2 was developed by the award-winning creative design agency, Creative Inc, and marks a successful year to date for the agency, having added 3 Mobile, Love Irish Food, Trebor Gum, Lough Rynn Castle, Kilronan Castle Estate and Spa, and Sqeez to its extensive client portfolio since early 2009.
