Tayto has witnessed strong growth in the €13.4 million ‘Healthy Snacks’ category (AC Nielson. Markettrack, Value 29 June 2008) with the launches of Tayto Velvet Crunch Cheese and Onion and Thai Sweet Chilli. Tayto Velvet Crunch experienced a 3% market share gain in just over 12 months, making it the fastest growing snack brand within the entire category.

A new variety, Tayto Velvet Crunch Sweet Potato will be launched in stores this month, boasting only 80 calories per pack and 70% reduced fat compared to standard potato crisps – available in a Sea Salt & Malt Vinegar flavour.
