Top Oil unveils new service station in Co. Cork

Top Oil's ongoing investment in its nationwide network continues apace with the opening of a brand new forecourt service station in Cork.

Top Oil has officially opened its latest forecourt at South Link, Cork adding to its existing network of more than 200 locations nationwide. The new forecourt station aims to bring a significant boost the local economy by employing 37 people from the surrounding Cork area.

The new location covers 1.5 acres on the South Link road, a major route in and out of Cork city. It offers a variety of services to its customers, including a Daybreak convenience store. Top Oil South Link predicts more than 25,000 customers per week pass through the forecourt in the coming year.

“We are delighted to launch the latest Top Oil forecourt in Cork,” said Martin Daly, sales & marketing manager for Top Oil. “Top Oil is committed to investing in key locations across Ireland such as South Link, and providing high quality service to our retail and trade customers.

“This forecourt investment at South Link demonstrates our continued growth and commitment as a leading Irish fuel provider,” he said, “and we look forward to developing our partnership owners Brendan and Seamus Scally.

Colm Dolan, Daybreak sales and development manager described the South Link station as a demonstration of Daybreak and Musgrave’s new and exciting format in high convenience forecourt retailing. “South Link offers the consumer the latest trends in food to go” Dolan said, “combining healthier options for the health-conscious, with traditional deli and hot food options for the busy person on the go.

“We are delighted to partner with Brendan and Seamus Scally,” he added, “and regard  the new site in South Link as best in class for forecourt retailing.”
