The Village Butcher Ranelagh, a family-run gourmet craft butcher renowned for its extensive range of diverse and artisan meats and poultry, is now offering nationwide delivery.

Customers can pre-order items from their spring lamb selection just in time for Easter. The grass-fed lamb is sourced from Gary Hegarty’s Farm in Co. Wicklow, just 60 miles from The Village Butcher in Ranelagh, and is hung inhouse to improve flavour and texture.

Customers can choose from cuts including a shoulder of lamb, mini lamb rack, leg of lamb, lamb shoulder chops, lamb sirloin/rump, lamb centre loin chops, half leg of lamb, French dressed lamb rack, diced shoulder of lamb and lamb striploin.

The Village Butcher is run by husband-and-wife duo Michael and Sarah along with their daughter Jessica, a talented apprentice butcher, who is responsible for creating a number of innovative homemade products.

Jessica shares a tasty marinade which goes perfectly with one of her favourite cuts, lamb rump, which she says when roasted and rested, is very tender with lots of flavour.

The Village Butcher specialises in rare and exclusive meats and poultry from dry-aged beef sourced from grass-fed cows; speciality beef like Wagyu, Belted Galloway, Dexter and Friesian; plus an unrivalled range of unusual meats and game, including wild Irish venison, duck, pheasant, organic rose veal, goat, wild boar, goose, rabbit, and when in season, wood pigeon, guinea fowl, quail and pheasant.

Also proving popular are Jessica’s range of homemade fridge-to-table meals which include chicken Palermo, individual beef wellingtons, beef bourguignon and handmade sausage rolls complemented by a range of sides including croquettes and seasonal roasting vegetables and a wide range of sauces, seasonings and condiments with an emphasis on Irish produced artisan products including Elbow Lane Smokehouse, Carols Stock Market, Graham’s Horseradish, Scarlet For Your Ma Hot Sauce and more, along with Achill Island Sea Salt and Dublin Mountain Honey.

Pre-orders are available nationwide and can be delivered to your door. Minimum order of €25 required for delivery. Dublin delivery is priced at €7.99 for delivery Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday; Nationwide delivery is €12.99 available Monday to Wednesday. Free delivery on orders over €120.
