The judging is in, the tables are prepared and the stage is set for the ShelfLife National C-Store Awards 2018. Tomorrow, Wednesday 28 November, the best businesses and brands in Ireland's most vibrant and visible industry will be honoured at a black tie event in Dublin's CityWest Hotel.

The biggest night of the year in Ireland’s thriving convenience store, supermarket and FMCG industry is upon us!

This Wednesday 28 November, more than 400 honoured guests from the industry will gather at Dublin’s Citywest Hotel for a black-tie gala dinner and the presentation of more than 40 awards including Forecourt Retailer of the Year, Convenience Store of the Year and a range of specialised awards recognising best practice in a range of departments.

The brands and partners that help drive the industry will also be recognised, with awards including Best New Product, Wine of the Year and Supplier of the Year, while the 2018 Convenience Champion – the individual who has excelled in advocating and supporting the industry through their work – will also be announced.

Alongside our platinum sponsors Cuisine de France, The Irish Daily Mail and The National Lottery, we look forward to welcoming one and all for a magical and rewarding evening, hosted as always by the one and only Marty Whelan.

John McDonald, publisher of ShelfLife magazine, said he is delighted that once again the creme-de-la-creme of Ireland’s convenience store industry is to be recognised at the  Awards.

“In a year that has seen good trading for the C-Store sector and a particularly strong improvement in sales for those in Dublin and the bigger urban areas,” McDonald said, “it is clear that ongoing investment in stores has paid off.
