The Fruit People have seen a steady growth in orders for existing customers (127% over the last twelve months) and new client wins which brings their client roster to over 700 workplaces in Dublin.

While over 250,000 pieces of fruit leave The Fruit People’s warehouse in Glasnevin every week, the brand also delivers a range of pantry items, high-end snack items and tea and coffee offerings. Since the pandemic, the company has expanded into offering a full food and beverage service catering for daily breakfasts and lunches plus ad-hoc events like team meetings, BBQs and parties, delivered in conjunction with their catering partner, artisan food and drink brand Margadh.

In September 2021, The Fruit People also secured an exclusive partnership with Chicago-based workplace food, beverage and events provider, Crafty, to service the American business’s three Irish customers, with more clients coming on stream soon.

The future certainly looks bright for The Fruit People. The increased importance placed on employee wellbeing as an enticement back to the office is working in their favour and has seen their average order value double since pre-Covid, and the company is going from strength to strength.

Barry Dennis, co-founder, and CEO of The Fruit People said:”We feel fortunate to have a great team working with us as well as some top-class strategic partners who have helped develop our product and service over the years, allowing us to grow with our clients as their food and beverage needs evolve. We are happy to see a new flexible working environment as companies are increasingly using food and beverage programmes to create an experience for their teams to collaborate around.”
