Tesco swept the boards at the recent Irish Quality Food Awards, which recognise excellence among Irish products, producers, brands and groups striving to be the best in their field.

Tesco Ireland took home the coveted title of Retailer at the Year at this year’s Irish Quality Food Awards 2018, which took place in Dublin’s Clayton Hotel, Burlingtown Road. The retailer won a total of 38 product awards, along with almost 70 commendations. Spanning multiple categories Tesco own label products were awarded across Good Choice, Drink and Food Categories including fresh produce, meat, bakery, frozen, snacks and beers and wines.

“Winning so many individual product ‘Q’ awards is a fantastic endorsement of our products,” she added, “and very impactful from a customer perspective; every product entered receives judges’ feedback and we’re thrilled that our products were so well received.”
