To mark the launch of the Christmas campaign, new research conducted by Tesco Ireland has also revealed that 9 in 10 people (90%) say they would like to experience more moments of magic in their day-to-day lives.

Research findings

The research also found that 1 in 7 (69%) believe children are better at finding magic in everyday situations, while almost all (97%) agree that small acts of helpfulness can make an ordinary day feel special.

Naomi Kasolowsky, customer director at Tesco Ireland said:

“Christmas is a time of excitement, anticipation and magical moments. At Tesco, we see every day how small acts of help can make a real difference to customers, particularly at Christmas.”

The festive campaign extends beyond the TV screen, with a range of Christmas experiences and surprises for shoppers throughout the season. A specially created illustrated book,

Wild Elves of Ireland, features in the campaign and will also appear in outdoor displays around the country. The book, created by Irish illustrator Kitty Moss, contains all the clues that inspire the young boy’s elf investigation.

Families can also look forward to the return of Tesco’s popular treat boxes for the Late Late Toy Show, helping make one of Ireland’s favourite festive traditions even more enjoyable.

The Helping Christmas Feel Magic campaign will run across TV, social media, outdoor advertising, print and in-store activity throughout the festive season.
