About Cancer Fund for Children
Cancer Fund for Children’s mission is to ensure no child faces cancer alone.
They provide families with informal emotional, social and therapeutic support at home, at school, in the community and in hospital.
They also offer short breaks at Daisy Lodge in Newcastle, Co. Down.
However, demand for the services are growing and so plans are also underway for a second Daisy Lodge situated on the banks of Lough Corrib in Cong, Co. Mayo.
Each year, they support nearly 2,000 children living with cancer and their families across all 32 counties on the island of Ireland.
