Spar, Church Road, East Wall has undergone a significant revamp to transform its offering to include a new fresh food concept and coffee offering. The new store has been completely revamped and now hosts an Insomnia Barista Café, a new make your own salad station, new Spar deli and a seating area for 20. The store still boasts a core grocery range and a strong off-licence to compliment the new features.

Regarding the decision to revamp, Lil Courtney, owner of the store, says it was  simply time to make some changes after ten years. “We are delighted to be relaunching this store and introducing lots of new fresh food concepts,” said Courtney. “We feel there was a gap in the market for a really strong, fresh food and coffee offering. I’d like to thank my loyal customers for their patience while the building works were ongoing and invite them to come in and experience the new store.”

Spar sales director, Colin Donnelly congratulated Lil and wished her and her team continued success for the years ahead in their fantastic new look Spar store. “This new look Spar store will be a great facility for the local community to enjoy,” Donnelly said, “and shows a fantastic commitment from Lil Courtney to deliver a new and improved retail offering for her loyal customers in East Wall.”

All next week, the store will be running a range of special offers to celebrate its new look. Each day there will be a new offer revealed as well as a host of offers across the grocery section all week.
