Guaranteed Irish and SuperValu recently announced SiSú Drinks as the winner of the 2025 Guaranteed Irish & SuperValu Media Bursary, a €50,000 fund created to boost the media presence of an outstanding Guaranteed Irish food or drink member.

Sponsored by SuperValu, the bursary will provide SiSú with the opportunity to advertise across SuperValu’s in-store digital screens, as well as other communications channels.

Known for its award-winning, plant-based beverages, the brand continues to resonate with Irish consumers seeking functional, nutritious drinks that support a healthy lifestyle.

Speaking about the bursary, Aisling McGann, COO of her family business SiSú, said: “As an emerging Irish food brand with a big ambition to inspire healthier choices through natural, innovative and good-for-you products, this bursary will make a meaningful difference.

Guaranteed Irish Food & Drink Month

The bursary was launched during Guaranteed Irish Food & Drink Month in June 2025, an initiative ‘celebrating the innovation and contribution’ of local producers to the Irish economy.

Open to all food and drink members, the competition invited brands to submit user-generated content (UGC) via Instagram or TikTok, showcasing how the Guaranteed Irish ‘G’ symbol helps them win business.

Speaking about awarding this year’s media bursary to SiSú Drinks, Brid O’Connell, CEO of Guaranteed Irish highlighted that the wholesome beverages brand demonstrated “a genuine commitment to community, sustainability, and local collaboration”.

“This bursary will support their continued growth and amplify the voice of a brand that carries the Guaranteed Irish symbol.

Membership of Guaranteed Irish continues to deliver significant economic and social value.

Giving back

For every €1,000 generated by members, an additional €500 is supported in the wider economy.

Collectively, members contribute nearly €60 million annually to social initiatives, including local sports sponsorships, charitable support, and sustainability efforts.
