Primeline Group has signed a new 10-year multimillion-euro agreement to act as the sole warehousing and distribution partner for Tayto Snacks.
The deal builds on a long-standing partnership between the two companies and further strengthens Primeline’s role as Ireland’s leading independent provider of logistics and route-to-market solutions.
Under the terms of the contract, tens of thousands of boxes of Tayto, Hunky Dorys, King, O’Donnell’s, Hula Hoops, Popchips, KP Nuts, Penn State and McCoy’s products will move through Primeline’s state-of-the-art warehousing and national distribution network each week, reaching more than 2,000 retail locations across Ireland.
Primeline Group is the largest employer in County Meath, with 1,400 team members across its operations.
Its fleet of 400 vehicles services 7,500 retailers nationwide, completing approximately 30,000 deliveries every week according to the CSNA.
The chief executive of Primeline, Tim Cummins, said the agreement marked another major milestone for the company’s growth.
‘Vote of confidence’
Cummins said, “This is a significant vote of confidence in Primeline’s capability and people.
“Tayto is one of Ireland’s most recognisable household brands, and we are proud to continue supporting their growth with a first-class warehousing and distribution service.
“Our focus is simple: deliver efficiently, protect product quality, and ensure availability in every store.
“This partnership reflects the strength of our infrastructure and the trust we’ve built over many years.”
Primeline first started working with Tayto Snacks in 2015 and has steadily expanded its services for the brand since then.
Commenting on the partnership, the managing director of Tayto Snacks, John O’Connor, said, “Primeline has consistently delivered high standards of service and reliability.
“Renewing this partnership for a further ten years ensures we can continue to meet demand across Ireland and keep our products available to consumers nationwide.”
