Niall Phelan to step down from Molson Coors Ireland & UK
Niall Phelan is stepping down from his role as Director of Emerging Markets and Craft Beer at Molson Coors Ireland & UK to pursue other interests.

He’ll be replaced from within by Martin Coyle. Martin has been with Molson Coors since 1993 and in that time, has occupied a wide variety of roles across the business, including Carling Brand Director and more recently Customer Director on Asda.
In a short statement, the company explained, “Molson Coors continues to be committed to Ireland and the UK and has developed a strong leadership team which includes the recent appointment of Robert Blythe as Head of Marketing – Ireland, Scotland and Craft Beer at Molson Coors (UK) Ltd and continued support from Sales Director, Keith Fagan”.
Simon Cox, Managing Director at Molson Coors UK and Ireland, commented, “The appointment of Martin Coyle as Director of Emerging Markets and Craft Beer signals our intent to maintain our growth ambitions in Ireland. Martin brings a wealth of commercial and leadership experience and will now work alongside Niall and Keith to smoothly transition into the role over the coming weeks.”
