For those both inside and outside the on-trade, it’s been called “a heart-warming documentary” which explores the Irish pub’s unique place in our lives and in the community.

Alex Fegan, whose film credits include the award-winning ‘Man Made Men’ and ‘The Court Astronomer’, has directed the film which speaks with a number of pub-owners around the country.

Element Pictures is releasing the film on 4th October and as you can see from this trailer, The Irish Pub has got all the warmth and cosiness of a well-run pub — but it’s the interviewees (and those not interviewed by getting in on the act anyway) that add the natural flair to this Atoms Films production in association with the Irish Film Board.
