Value Centre Sligo on the Finisklin Road recently unveiled an impressive new look alcohol section during a recent customer event.

The new section features the latest Irish craft beers and a new range of premium spirits. The result is that Value Centre is confident it offers “an enhanced shopping experience”.

Manager of Value Centre Sligo Jacquie Conlon explained why there was a need to develop this area of the cash and carry. “We decided to launch a new alcohol section in response to exciting current trends in the sector,” Conlon said. “Craft beers are continuing to prove very popular and there is also a demand for more specialised spirits. Our new alcohol section now offers our licensed trade customers the best ever selection, helping them to stay on trend.”

Customers at the launch event were treated to an evening of craft beer tastings, canape sampling and a cocktail masterclass, with two lucky customers winning a two day intensive cocktail course at the Dublin Bar Academy.

Local chef Joe Shannon was on hand to showcase tasty Asian dishes, all created using authentic Asian products which are available to buy from Value Centres nationwide. Local businesses in the area were invited to attend the special evening of activities and could avail of value offers on the night.
