Jack and Eddie’s – Two names, one great new Irish sausage!

The O’Malley family had been farming pigs in the hills between Westport in Co. Mayo and Leenane, Co. Galway for five generations, when Farmer Eddie, with the help of nine year old son Jack, decided to start making high quality pork products, and sell them at Westport Country Market – three years later and Jack & Eddie’s premium sausages and rashers are stocked throughout Connaught and Dublin, with plans to expand nationwide. Jack & Eddie’s Finest Pork Sausages are available in packs of six, for RSP €3.19 (12 pack €3.29) and Jack & Eddie’s Dry Cure Rashers are available in packs of six for RSP €3.79, from leading supermarkets and independent retailers.

Parcel Connect launches first digital campaign after bumper Christmas period

Parcel Connect, a personalised parcel delivery provider, allows customers to send, collect and return goods via their local Payzone shop. The company has decided to take its first steps into online advertising by launching a new exclusive digital campaign this month. Central to the campaign – run by media agency MEC Ireland – is the promotion of a 40 second animation video, developed by specialist creative agency Giant Animation. Payzone stores reported a 100% increase in 2014 parcel volumes compared to 2013.

66% of people prefer a night in with wine, candles and a takeaway according to new Just Eat survey

66% of Irish people will be opting for a romantic night in with wine, candles and a takeaway next Saturday, 14 February instead of a night out, according to a new survey by online takeaway ordering service Just Eat. From Monday, 9 February, Just Eat is asking people to nominate a cheesy couple who they feel deserves to win a romantic night in, with a “Takeaway Twosie”, roses from Flowers.ie and a €50 Just Eat gift card, while the nominator will also receive a €50 gift card.Just Eat’s new gift cards can be purchased at www.justeatshop.ie from €20 denominations.
