Irish baby products brand Cognikids launches in SuperValu stores nationwide
Irish baby products brand Cognikids has launched in SuperValu stores nationwide. Founded by leading neurological development therapist Ollwyn Moran, Cognikids uses technology, clever design and a fun-loving attitude to create a range of baby products that encourage babies to develop their own brains through movement and activity. The retailer will stock the brands best-selling “Sip, Dip and Grip” range of feeding products and can be found in the baby aisle.
Johnnie Walker launches Game of Thrones-themed whiskey
While the world waits for the return of acclaimed drama series Game of Thrones, scotch whiskey brand Johnnie Walker has launched a new whiskey to tie in with fans of the show. White Walker by Johnnie Walker is designed to be served straight from the freezer and takes its name from the show’s fearsome White Walker army.
25 SuperValu stores named finalists for internal Off-Licence of the Year awards
The 26th Edward Dillon & Santa Rita Estates SuperValu Off Licence of the Year Awards will take place on Thursday, 29 November at The Galway Bay Hotel. 25 SuperValu stores chosen from over 200 stores across Ireland have been chosen as finalists and will battle it out to win one of four top awards on the night. The categories of award are: Overall Winner SuperValu Off Licence of the Year, Winner Large Store SuperValu Off Licence of the Year, Winner Medium Store SuperValu Off Licence of the Year and Winner Small Store SuperValu Off Licence of the Year
Seedlip spirit launched at Dublin event
Seedlip, the world’s first distilled non-alcoholic spirit, was launched in Ireland at a special event in Dublin this month. Jawbox Small Batch Gin named winner of Best Gin at the Quality Food & Drink Awards 2018
Judged by a panel selected from 400 industry experts, Jawbox Small Batch Gin has been named Best Gin at the Awards last week. The Quality Food & Drink Awards recognise and reward the best in retail, wholesale and foodservice food and drink products available in the UK. Hailing from Belfast, Jawbox’s main ingredient is heather, the city’s local flower.
On the Road with Moy Park
Ireland’s number one poultry brand Moy Park has continued the company’s 75th anniversary celebrations, with the iconic little yellow sampling van visiting Tesco Clarehall. Customers were invited to sample Moy Park’s breaded product range, including the new Moy Park Hot and Spicy breaded mini fillets. With the first phase of the relaunch now complete, Moy Park is now embarking on an Ireland wide campaign, which will be a real celebration of ‘75 years of tasty chicken’.
Moovers wins Gold at Irish Food Awards
