WEEE proudly announces Battery recycling hits impressive targets
WEEE Ireland, Ireland’s largest battery recycling scheme today announced that it recycled 812 tonnes of batteries in 2016 – the equivalent of 32 million AA batteries. With a target to recycle 45% of all batteries placed on the market in Ireland by its members in 2016, WEEE Ireland called on the Irish Public to recharge their recycling habits to help Ireland achieve its target. WEEE has subsequently acknowledged its members’ strenuous efforts on this front: Not only was the target achieved, the Irish public went above and beyond, recycling 11 million more AA batteries than 2015.

Irish Distillers has introduced Method and Madness, a new range of experimental super premium whiskeys designed to push the boundaries of Irish whiskey. Health and fitness guru Roz Purcell to officially launch WellFest 2017
Health and fitness guru Roz Purcell has joined forces with Wellfest 2017, Ireland’s only health, fitness and wellness festival. Sponsored by KBC Bank, the event will take place over the weekend of 6 and 7 May in Dublin’s Herbert Park.
