Catherine Fulvio brings flavour home for new series
Much loved TV chef and food writer, Catherine Fulvio, returns to TV screens this week with a brand new format cooking, travel and lifestyle series called, ‘Tastes like Home’, on RTÉ One. Over six weeks, the programme will join Fulvio on an excitingmission to establish a meal that “Tastes like Home” and to bring these tastes across the globe. The programe is sponsored by Londis, and goes out on Fridays at 7.30pm, on RTÉ One.
Spar IFSC’s Greens & Co sponsors NCI football team at World Inter-University Challenge
Greens & Co, Spar’s new salad bar franchise, has announced its sponsorship of the National College of Ireland Football team. The NCI team is taking part in the World Inter Universities Championships in Rome from 17th – 20th November. The first Greens & Co outlet was in the Spar in Dublin’s IFSC – adjacent to the National College of Ireland.
Tesco, FoodCloud and Lions Rugby join forces for Christmas Food Appeal
All-star rugby team The Lions has joined forced with FoodCloud and Tesco Ireland to ask shoppers to support families in need by donating a food item during a two-day Christmas Food Appeal. The appeal will take place on Friday 25th and Saturday 26th November between 11am – 7.30pm in Tesco stores nationwide. During the two day appeal, a ‘shopping list’ with suggested non-perishable food items will be available to all customers as they enter their local Tesco store. In the last three years alone the annual Christmas Food Appeal has collected over €500,000 worth of food for families.
