Pip & Pear is a new baby food range which is the brainchild of Waterford mum and restaurateur Irene Queally.

The company has just announced that it will be partnering with Aldi Ireland for the national launch of its chilled baby foods on 28 May with a range of nine dishes to choose from.

Like every busy parent, Queally needed a convenient baby food but couldn’t find anything in stores that came close to home cooking, and so Pip & Pear was born. She has sourced the highest quality ingredients including organic fruit and vegetables, organic gluten free baby pasta, Bord Bia approved Irish beef, lamb and chicken and Bord Iascaigh Mhara approved fish .

Described as a selection which promises “all of the goodness and none of the guilt”, Pip & Pear is cooked exactly the same way as mum or dad would at home, minus the intensive cooking methods of long shelf life pouches and jars.

The mother of two took put it on the menu at her restaurant “No.9 Barronstrand St.” and the response was incredible with parents driving from all over the south east to stock up on the brand.

Pip & Pear recently won gold, silver and bronze medals for their Spiced Apple and Pear, Banana Blue and Chicken Lickin Casserole in the Blas na hEireann Irish Food Awards.
