Heineken has delivered ‘good volume growth’ of 5%, in its third quarter.

In its latest financial results, the drinks giant attributed this performance to ‘positive contributions from all regions, alongside strong delivery from its global brands and priority segments in particular.’

Revenue for the quarter amounted to €9.6 billion, bringing year-to-date revenue to €27.1 billion.

In a statement, Rafa Oliveira, CEO, said: “Joining Heineken at a time when our teams are delivering solid results while remaining focused on implementing our strategy is a real privilege.

“My first impressions are positive, particularly the strength of our brands, the commitment of our people, and the growth potential across our geographic footprint.

“We have strong foundations, but we are not translating them into consistent growth and winning with consumers and customers as often as we should.

“There is more to do to sharpen execution, increase pace, and build a stronger performance culture, with greater accountability across the business.

“These first weeks have been about listening, learning, and understanding. I look forward to sharing more of my perspective when we report our full-year results.”

Segments and Brands

Heineken noted that volume across its premium brands grew by 11.5% during the period, ‘significantly ahead of the total portfolio’.

Low and no-alcohol grew at a double-digit rate, led by Heineken 0.0 and Heineken Ultimate.

Beyond beer volume grew by a mid teens percentage, supported by Desperados innovations, the company added.

Outlook

Looking ahead, based on current macroeconomic conditions, Heineken noted that it will assume a broadly unchanged consumer environment across most of its markets.

‘We are accelerating disciplined execution of our strategy and continue to invest in sustainable growth, funded by productivity. Reflecting our strong performance to date, we remain confident in delivering our 2026 guidance of 2% to 6% operating profit growth. All other guidance metrics also remain unchanged,’ it added.
