Goodfella’s has launched a New York-Style Pizza range, replacing the existing Goodfella’s Takeaway range.

According to the pizza brand, the new range promises indulgent toppings, quality ingredients and Goodfella’s ‘tastiest recipe ever’, backed by consumer testing, helping retailers attract the growing number of shoppers that regularly enjoy “fakeaways[1] at home to the frozen aisle.

The Goodfella’s New York-Style Pizza range will roll out from the 8 of September in Tesco, closely followed by other retailers throughout September to November with a MRSP: €4.75*.

Goodfella’s Garlic bread will be available from the 13 of October in Co-op, and more widely available by the end of November with a €2.50*.

Four flavours

The four flavours in the New York-Style Pizza range – Ultimate Four Cheese, Fully Loaded Pepperoni, Hot & Spicy Meat Feast and Sweet & Smoky BBQ Chicken – will have a stonebaked base with a large crispy crust, loaded with ‘indulgent and on-trend’ toppings such as Hot Honey Drizzle, diced Pepperoni, roquito peppers, chilli and black pepper crumb.

The recipe was carefully crafted by the Goodfella’s team, , creating the perfect treat for pizza lovers to enjoy at home, the brand noted.

‘Tastiest recipe ever’

The New York-Style Pizza range has a bold packaging design that highlights the range’s ‘tastiest recipe ever’, and its New York inspiration. The eye-catching on-pack graphics showcase the new base and loaded toppings to instantly appeal to shoppers looking for a quality takeaway-style treat within the frozen .

Joining the pizza lineup is the newly renovated Goodfella’s Garlic Bread, now made with the same delicious base as the New York-Style pizzas. delivering indulgence from crust to crumb.

The new pizzas have been a hit in consumer testing, with overwhelmingly positive feedback. .

“Our New York-Style Pizza range is perfectly placed to tap into this ongoing trend and help retailers attract more shoppers looking for a convenient takeaway-style treat to the frozen aisle.”
