In a bid to raise much needed funds for the Irish Grocers Benevolent Fund (IGBF), networking association Elevate will host its inaugural women in business event in the Maryborough Hotel, Cork on 13 September. Focusing on the theme of work life balance, this event will celebrate women succeeding in the workplace and offer a valuable networking opportunity to all attendees.

Commencing at 11.30am with light refreshments, the event will be headlined by Aldagh McDonogh, group CEO of Morgan McKinley and Colette Twomey, managing director of Clonakilty Blackpudding Company. Following on from these accomplished women in business, attendees will have a three-course meal, an opportunity to network and hear professional advice on how to manage their work life balance from Catherine Cashman, health and wellness speaker.

The Irish Grocers Benevolent Fund is a nationally registered Irish charity, which assists people in the retail, wholesale and supplier trade sector in Ireland.  The objective of the fund is to provide financial relief for persons in need, who have been involved in the food and beverage trades.  This includes retail grocers, wholesalers, manufacturers and general suppliers to the industry.

Tickets are €100 and available on https://www.tickettailor.com/events/igbfsouthernregion or for more enquiries, email holly.barry@barrys.ie.
