Baggot Inn-owner Eddie Fitzgerald is at an advanced stage in purchasing the freehold for Café en Seine from owners Royal Liver insurance for “a good price”, he told Drinks Industry Ireland and admitted that “maybe down the road” he’d be interested in acquiring the lease from the bank that currently holds it.
“But my attention and focus is still on the Baggot Inn and the Parnell Mooney, which will probably be open in the new year,” he explained, “We’re just going to become a landlord of Café en Seine for the moment.”
