24 November 2023
It’s always great to see community-focused initiatives in shopping centres across the country at this time of year. With that in mind, ShelfLife was delighted to see that 60 makers and creators of the Drogheda Cottage Market are all set to host their first of three special Christmas Market days, commencing on Saturday, 2 December.
This festive market will be located at the former Next unit in Scotch Hall Shopping Centre and it will be open to browse on three dates in December; Saturday, 2 December, 9 December and on Sunday, 10 December.
The Drogheda Cottage Market features over 60 producers and creators offering an eclectic array of foods, drinks and crafts. There will be an array of original gift ideas from jewellery designers to Indian Street Food vendors, artwork, photography, handcrafted skincare, candles, Irish design fashion, books and vinyl. Visitors can pick up all manner of gourmet goodness from award-winning breads, cakes, chutneys, and cheese, to olive oils and local honey.
The atmosphere will be lit up with beats from a live DJ and the three market dates will see the makers and creators open at 10 am each day and close at 5 pm.
