Cassidy Wines has announced Marqués de Cáceres is the latest addition to its comprehensive portfolio. One of Rioja’s best known producers Marqués de Cáceres is also ranked in the top three Spanish brands on the Irish market.

Managing director Neil Cassidy is confident that despite the difficult economic climate now is the right time to build on the great loyalty for the brand that already exists in the Irish market. “As a family run company Marqués de Cáceres is the perfect fit for Cassidy Wines and we’re proud to add another prestigious name to our portfolio.”

Marqués de Cáceres export sales manager Florent Thibaut welcomed the new development also, commenting: “Ireland has always been a very important and successful market for our range of wines. Moreover, the family owners and the team at the bodega are strongly committed towards all our Irish customers and thank them for their support and loyalty. We look forward to this new and challenging business partnership with Cassidy Wines as they clearly have the fine wine expertise and focus that an iconic range like ours requires.”

Cassidy Wines will officially launch its association with Marqués de Cáceres at this year’s Taste of Dublin Festival in June where the Rioja house will have its own stand. Philip O’Shea, the Cassidy Wines brand manager for Marqués de Cáceres believes this is the perfect opportunity for the trade to taste the latest vintages.
