BWG Foods is adopting contactless payments in partnership with Visa Europe from the end of April. The company plans to expand the service across Ireland with the majority of its 900 stores being able to offer contactless payments by year end.

The contactless technology will allow consumers to simply wave their contactless enabled card in front of the card terminal and pay in less than a second for transactions less than €15.
