Amruta Vaidya appointed country manager of Coca-Cola Ireland

Outgoing CEO Agnese Filippi will take up the role as country manager for Coca-Cola in Sweden

The Coca–Cola Company recently announced that Amruta Vaidya has been appointed country manager of Coca–Cola Ireland.
As country manager of Coca–Cola Ireland, Vaidya will be responsible for leading the growth and product marketing for the company’s portfolio in Ireland, ‘strengthening Coca–Cola’s position as a local market leader while driving innovation’.
She replaces Agnese Filippi who was recently appointed as country manager for Coca–Cola in Sweden.
‘Strong growth’
In her new role, Vaidya will work closely with Coca–Cola’s bottling partner Coca–Cola HBC to continue strong growth across the island of Ireland which has positioned Coca–Cola as Ireland’s biggest brand for 20 successive years.
Commenting on her new role, Vaidya, said: “I’m thrilled to take up the role of Country Manager and build on The Coca–Cola Company’s exceptional track record of success in Ireland.

Wealth of experience
Vaidya joined Coca–Cola in 2017 and brings more than 20 years’ experience in global FMCG sector.
The soft drinks giant noted that she most recently served as the company’s country manager for Norway and Iceland, successfully delivering solid, consistent growth across the region, while building a high-performance team and strengthening our partnership with our bottlers.
She has also held leadership roles across Franchise Operations, Marketing and General management in Australia, Singapore and Malaysia.
Vaidya and her family will be relocating to Dublin.
