Aldi returns as official supermarket partner for Electric Picnic 2024
Aldi is set to fuel festival-goers at Electric Picnic with a pop-up supermarket, live events, and fundraising for Barnardos, plus the return of DJ Kev

Aldi is thrilled to be returning as Official Supermarket Partner to Electric Picnic, Ireland’s largest music festival.
Aldi also has its own festival lineup including cooking demonstrations, charity brunches, live podcasts and DJ sets from their very own Kevin The Carrot.
Situated in the Andy Warhol campsite, the Aldi Pop-Up Supermarket is on hand to keep campers fuelled and hydrated by stocking a range of snacks, sandwiches, chilled drinks, and fresh fruit.
Festival goers can also pop in and pick-up last-minute camping equipment to see them through the weekend.
The store will open from 4pm-11pm on Thursday for the early birds, 7am-2am from Friday to Sunday and 7am-11am on Monday.
It’s entirely cashless to ensure smoother, faster service with extra tills added to decrease wait times.
Stellar line up
As well as the Aldi Pop-Up Supermarket, there is a stellar line up of exciting Aldi events.
For the podcast lovers out there, don’t miss a live episode of the award-winning parenting podcast, Mamia & Me, hosted by the beloved Jen Hogan.
Join Jen at the podcast tent on Sunday 18th at 1:30pm where special guest Louise Duffy, RTÉ presenter and mum of two, will chat about her life, career and favourite Electric Picnic moments.
Cook up a storm with Aldi Ambassador and chef, Trisha Lewis (@trishas.transformation) as she hosts a demonstration in the Theatre of Food at 4pm on 16 Friday.
Barnardos
Aldi is committed to making a difference for its charity partner, Barnardos which is why they have arranged a couple of fundraising initiatives to help the thousands of children in need of Barnardos’ services.
As there will be no DRS machine at the pop-up store, Aldi will donate all deposits collected from DRS related products to the charity.
Customers can still redeem their deposits at any Aldi store after the festival.
EPic Charity Brunch
Additionally, this year’s EPic Charity Brunch – taking place at the Theatre of Food on Sunday, 18 August at 12pm – will be in aid of Barnardos.
The delicious gathering, supplied by a range of Aldi’s Irish suppliers, has already sold out.
In total, more than €10,000 will be donated to Barnardos to help the most vulnerable in society as a result of these initiatives.
Aldi is once again providing its popular Mamia Baby and Toddler Feeding and Changing Area, located in the heart of Little Picnic.
This calm space offers a clean, family-friendly environment with dedicated spaces for changing and nursing, as well as the chance to sample Aldi’s award-winning range of Mamia nappies and baby care products.
