Just Food relaunches vegan organic soups
Galway-made Just Food relaunches with new vegan organic soups and bold packaging, plus SOOP Mug innovation for on-the-go eating
13 January 2026
The Just Food organic soup brand, established in 2004, recently announced its relaunch this Veganuary with two new naturally vegan recipes on-shelf with a third due to join shortly.
Its new packaging features bold illustrations and natural colours that are true to the purity of the ingredients – with the refreshed range being greeted with delight by our loyal consumers (including Sophie Morris who featured the clean deck ingredients).
Its ethos remains firmly rooted in producing nourishing, organic products that retailers and consumers can trust and savour.
Made in Galway
Each Just Food soup is made in Galway using certified organic ingredients, slow-simmered in small batches to deliver depth of flavour without shortcuts.
Clean, clearly labelled ingredient lists are central to the brand, with no thickeners/emulsifiers, flavour enhancers, preservatives or artificial additives, making the range particularly appealing to today’s health-conscious and ethically minded consumers.
Two standout vegan options include the Organic Minestrone Soup, a hearty blend of organic vegetables, beans and herbs, and the Organic Tomato & Mediterranean Vegetable Soup, rich with vine tomatoes, peppers and aromatic herbs for a vibrant, comforting profile.
Both are naturally vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free.
Coming soon is vegan Organic Lentil, Chickpea & Kale Soup, a hearty blend of green lentils, chickpeas, kale and creamy organic coconut milk with a warming kick of ginger, turmeric and chilli.
Just Food organic soups are available at Dunnes Stores, Tesco Ireland, Londis and Mace. RRP €3.79.
SOOP Mug Brings Vegan Soup Hot & On-The-Go:
Lightly spiced & aromatic plant-based Indonesian chickpea
For the foodservice, forecourt and convenience retail markets, the award-winning SOOP Mug is delivering real innovation with hot, healthy soup-to-go; providing a SOOP-er soup solution for consumers and retailers.
Designed for busy consumers and high-throughput foodservice, SOOP Mug delivers fresh, nourishing soup to eat straight from the Mug’s built in “lip” – eliminating the need for spoons, terrines or crockery (and spills).
Just completed SOOP Mug commissioned research from Norstat shows that while 62% of Irish respondents regularly eat soup for lunch, only 12% eat soup on-the-go – showing a clear opportunity for foodservice.
A standout in the range is the Plant-Based Indonesian Style Chickpea SOOP Mug.
A creamy, flavour-packed recipe made with chickpeas, coconut cream, onions, carrots and warming spices, finished with gentle heat from diced chillies.
Gluten and nut-free, it won Gold at 2024’s Blas na hÉireann and a One Star at the 2025 Great Taste Awards, underlining its taste and quality.
The innovative Mug is manufactured in Ireland using 65% recycled material and is 100% recyclable, supporting sustainability without compromising convenience.
SOOP Mug is available at Maxol service stations and select cafés in Dublin, Galway and London, with more locations coming soon. RRP €3.99.
