Topaz makes Europe’s top ten workplaces list
Topaz says result "reinforces our position as an industry leader"

Topaz, Ireland’s largest fuel and convenience retailer, has been recognised as one of the Best Large Workplaces in Europe. At a black tie event at Dublin’s RDS, the company emerged in ninth position in its category. This is the fourth time the company has received this accolade, but the first time it made the top ten.
Furthermore, Topaz was one of only three Irish companies to be recognised in the Large Workplace category.
Topaz’s director of human resources, Ruth Mellett, said the award was a “fantastic achievement.
“Achieving a top ten position is huge for us,” Mellett said. “The quality of the companies we were up against in sectors like financial services, information technology, telecommunications and retail was of an extremely high standard. Just as in Ireland, we are the only fuel and convenience retailer on this Europe-wide list. That makes it hugely satisfying and reinforces our position as an industry leader.”
