Value Nation will create 50 new jobs over the coming 18 months in Dublin 17. The jobs will be in the areas of sales, customer service, marketing, software development, finance and social media.

Value Nation, a new customer engagement loyalty company, is the brainchild of John Paul L’Estrange and Eamonn Dawson, two former senior managers of One4all gift card. The initial product to be rolled out is LolliPoints – a service whereby customers can collect loyalty points and redeem them in the outlets that they were collected. The new service will make the need to carry multiple loyalty cards a thing of the past, with the LolliPoints being able to work across a number of different stores.

Value Nation aims to be the largest loyalty scheme for customer engagement in Ireland within two years. The company has spent a substantial amount of time developing a unique customer engagement platform, which is highly versatile and can be adapted to engage customers over a number of different platforms.

The App supports Android and IOS with a Windows version planned in the near future. The App can be downloaded from Play Store or App Store for free. If the consumer chooses to use the physical LolliPoints card, they can at any time convert to the App and all their history will automatically be transfered over too.

One feature of the system is that the user receives an email receipt every time they use it. This includes points used / points earned and even allows a direct feedback option to the merchant. There will be over 100 merchants participating in the Value Nation scheme by Christmas.

Speaking about the new company and jobs, Eamonn Dawson said: "Having spent considerable time and investment creating and developing Value Nation from a concept to technology-enabled, we are delighted to be at the point where we can launch our company and announce details of our exciting development plans in terms of employment. People are key to the success of any business and over the coming 18 months with our ambitious hiring policy, we intend to be the leading marketing and customer engagement loyalty company in this country." He also added: "We also have exciting plans to launch our company in the UK within the next year and further afield after that."

Welcoming the announcement, Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton said, "The announcement that Value Nation, an innovative new Irish venture, will create 50 jobs over the coming 18 months is very welcome news and the latest in a series of very encouraging signs about the jobs market. I wish every success to John Paul and Eamonn and everyone involved."
