1) M&S unveils Chocolate Pistachio Sandwich
M&S has launched a new Chocolate, Strawberry & Pistachio Creme Sandwich ahead of Wimbledon, supported by a £900,000 investment by supplier Greencore in a dedicated nut production facility.
The retailer said the new product builds on the success of last year’s viral Strawberry & Creme Sandwich, which sold more than one million units in five weeks.
2) KitKat wins Cannes Grand Prix
Nestlé’s KitKat has won a Cannes Lions Grand Prix alongside four Gold, four Silver and two Bronze Lions for its “KitKat Heist” campaign, which turned the real-life theft of more than 413,000 chocolate bars into a global marketing success.
