The team behind casual culinary hotspot Tír Deli on Baggot Street launched its second outlet yesterday on Hatch Street, Dublin 2.

With many people back to the office in Dublin city, Tír says its new Hatch Street branch represents a step closer to their mission of becoming a beacon for seasonal, Irish food. Tír marked the opening by donating 100% of its revenue on its opening day to homeless charity Focus Ireland.

“The funds raised will provide support to families and young people currently experiencing homelessness in our communities,” said Kyela Fanagan, corporate fundraising manager from Focus Ireland. “A big thank you to all the Tír Deli team for their support.”

“Tír has been ten years in the planning and dreaming stages, so we are beyond excited to be opening another Tír in the beautiful surrounds of the vaults just off Hatch Street,” said Tír co-founder Shane Kelly. “It feels like the perfect fit for us and will allow us to experiment and develop the food offering here even more. It’s made all the more special by teaming up with Focus Ireland to help do our part for homelessness.”

Since Tír Deli first opened in April 2021, the management say they have taken pride in resourcing the finest ingredients to make this a memorable culinary experience rather than just another deli.

Tír is a seasonal Irish Deli, devoted to celebrating Irish food. The menu currently includes its take on nostalgic classics such as the roast beef sandwich (smoke-roasted dexter beef with salt & vinegar crisps inside, among other things) or the ham and cheese (free-range ham from North Dublin with Irish cheddar and ham crackling).
