Tesco to give €15 million in savings to a million Clubcard households

Tesco Ireland is set to distribute almost €15 million in Christmas Clubcard vouchers to over one million Irish households this week.
The latest Clubcard statement has started to arrive in households nationwide, with thousands of customers receiving a paperless e-statement for the first time, whereby vouchers are accessible through the Tesco app.
For the majority of Clubcard users, they can expect to receive their vouchers in the post over the coming week or two.
Many customers are looking to spread the cost of Christmas more so than ever this year, according to Tesco and “Christmas Savers” will also receive their annual statement as part of this latest mail-out as well as their savings for the entire year.
Recent research carried out by Tesco Ireland has identified that over half of shoppers (52%) have expressed how cost will be the most influential factor when it comes to their Christmas grocery shopping this year.
“More than ever, the arrival of the Clubcard statement will be a helpful tool to help customers manage their spend this festive season, be that on Christmas staples or extra treats through our reward partners,” said Cathal Deavy, customer director, Tesco Ireland
“Customers can also have confidence that hundreds of products are price locked until January, through our Low Everyday Prices price-lock commitment, alongside our Clubcard Prices, and this €15m in savings, are some of the ways we’re helping customers have an affordable Christmas,” Deavy added.
