Tesco Ireland and Love Irish Food have launched their debut retail activation, which will see the retailer highlight new support for Love Irish Food brands in store from 6 September. For the next four weeks, eye-catching point of sale will be on display in all large stores calling out Love Irish Food brands and products, making it easier for customers to choose Irish goods on their shopping trip.

Earlier this summer Love Irish Food announced a new partnership with Tesco Ireland to grow awareness of Love Irish Food member products in Tesco’s stores nationwide.

Love Irish Food has a broad spectrum of over 60 food and drink companies that employ in excess of 12,000 directly and indirectly in the food industry, producing great Irish food and drink brands and supporting jobs in local communities throughout the country.

Tesco Ireland works with over 490 Irish suppliers and supporting almost 14,000 farming families nationwide; Irish food and drink is at the heart of the Tesco Ireland business. Latest figures show that that the overall economic impact of Tesco’s expenditure in Ireland is €2.92 billion.
