Tesco Ireland extends bonus for workers during Covid-19
Staff discount has been temporarily increased to 15%

Tesco Ireland is extending its worker’s Covid-19 recognition bonus.
The initial 10% bonus for colleagues applied from 9 March to 1 May. It has now been extended for a further four weeks to 30 May.
What’s more, Tesco Ireland worker’s discount has increased from 10% to 15% until 17 May.
Kari Daniels, CEO, Tesco Ireland, said the company wanted to mark the commitment of colleagues. “The Covid-19 crisis has created unprecedented demands and pressures on retail and distribution. In recognition, we decided to give a 10% bonus for colleagues across stores eight weeks ago. We are now extending it for another four weeks.
“It’s been eight weeks of change for everyone, including in our operations where we’ve prioritised public health to support a safe working and shopping experience. Our colleagues have risen to these challenges, and I thank them for their support and contribution as together we respond to Covid-19”.
