Actor Stanley Tucci and actress Amy Huberman met in Ireland last week to mark the launch of Tanqueray No.TEN’s celebration of exceptional cocktail artistry, with a homage to the spirit of Irish hospitality that champions bar creativity and craftsmanship in Ireland.
Through the lens of iconic bar culture, Tanqueray No.TEN is collaborating with three esteemed tastemakers who are renowned for their skill and innovations within the cocktail industry. Make it a TEN
Tanqueray No.TEN’s residencies and partnerships are where lovers of cocktail culture can witness their artistry unfold to ‘Make it a TEN’. The residencies are born from the brand’s partnerships with top bartending talent the Tastemakers of Tanqueray No.TEN, which includes globally renowned bartenders and venues such as Ago Perrone from The Connaught Bar, Giulia Cuccurullo from The Artesian, Keila Urzaiz de Calignon and Yoann Tarditi from Satan’s Whiskers, Matteo Di Ienno, leading cocktail and botanical expert from Italy, award-winning independent bartender Tiffanie Barriere from the USA, and many more.
During his time in Ireland, Stanley and Amy met with each bartender; Oisin Kelly, Adeline Valdivia and Andy Ferreria to share stories and celebrate what makes the spirit of Irish hospitality so special, while learning about each bartender’s craft and the inspiration behind their bespoke Tanqueray No.TEN serves.
Signature serves
Throughout the year in Ireland, Tanqueray No.TEN will collaborate with the three to reveal experiences and events in their partnering venues. Additionally, each bartender has created a bespoke Tanqueray No.TEN cocktail, inspired by the brand’s signature serve, The Tiny TEN but with a twist incorporating Irish ingredients such as Valentia Island Vermouth, foraged geranium, Irish sea salt and honey, as well as flavours from Killahora Orchards.
Each cocktail will be available in each bartender’s venue, which are the following: ‘New Found’ by Oisín Kelly at The Sidecar, ‘Bloomsbury Heart’ by Adeline Valdivia at Glovebox, Allta and ‘Tunnel Vision’ by Andy Ferreira, Cask Cork.
Stanley Tucci said: “Cocktail making is a unique craft that welcomes curious and inventive minds to push the boundaries of flavour and bar cocktail culture. The new bottle is a beautiful homage to the brand’s heritage, craft and longstanding place in the world of bartending.”
Terry Fraser, master distiller, said: “Tanqueray No.TEN has always pioneered bringing gin to new levels, and this stunning new bottle is a testament to our craft. Using whole citrus fruits to capture the ‘citrus heart’ in our historic Tiny Ten still sets us apart from other gin distillations, making this the perfect element for the zenith of cocktail making excellence. The gin’s unique balance and refreshing taste are key to creating balanced drinks. It’s a delight to see how it’s used in the best drinks in the world.”
Tanqueray No.TEN is available to purchase at major retailers and independent stores nationwide from €45.
