Swiss-Irish food group Aryzta has reported a “steady improvement” in revenue trends as lockdown restrictions have been eased.

In an Irish Times report, the company said organic revenues were 23% lower to date in June. This has improved from a 36% reduction in May and 49% reduction in April.

However, the group is anticipating a “bumpy recovery” in the months ahead as we gain a fuller picture of the impact of Covid-19.

At present, some 22% of staff are furloughed, down from 30% at the end of April.
