“Evoking the sensations of Summer with hints of tropical fruits, caramel and green tea, Smithwick’s Long Summer is the newest brew from the team who brought us Smithwick’s Pale Ale and more recently Smithwick’s Winter Spirit,” states Diageo Ireland.

For Smithwick’s Long Summer, brewers combined malt and roasted barley to create the gold-coloured ale.

“Smithwick’s has over 300 years of brewing heritage and craftsmanship and its latest innovation, Long Summer, is set to impress lager lovers and craft beer aficionados alike” states the company, “with its natural aromas and biscuit notes sure to tantalise the taste buds.”

Smithwick’s Master Brewer Luis Ortega added, “Smithwick’s Long Summer is a fantastic addition to our existing range, offering lager and ale drinkers the perfect beer to enjoy during the Summer months”.

Smithwick’s Long Summer is available in 500ml bottles priced at €2.59 RRP. ABV: 4.5%
