Following a rigorous blind tasting, NOffLA will once again unveil the Gold Star Award-winning wines at the Irish Wine Show, held at the Pavilion, Leopardstown Racecourse, on Tuesday, 29 September.
NOffLA’s Gold Star Awards are intended to be of practical assistance to customers in making wine choices. The Gold Star wines are selected by a panel of qualified experts so that customers are given a specialist recommendation and an expert reassurance of excellent quality and value. In addition, member retailers will have an exclusive range which has the distinction of being unique in Ireland, and which puts them further to the forefront as leaders in the Irish wine market.
This year NOffLA has extended an invitation to companies in the retail trade who are not drinks suppliers but that provide the essential add-ons required by any successful off-licence operator, be it packaging, boxes, gift wrap, ice or snack foods.
The event offers an opportunity for suppliers to meet existing and potential customers, to promote their ranges, especially Christmas/seasonal stock, and generally generate awareness in the trade. For off-licence owners, the show offers a chance to network, expand their ranges, and to try the best wines in Ireland in a professional environment.
