Lots of jobs on the service station front this week! 30 new jobs came on stream with the opening of Charlestown Service Station on the N5 in Co. Mayo, where a vast variety of food offerings are available to customers including Supermac’s, Papa John’s, Bewley’s and more.

An official opening ceremony was performed by Minister for State for Regional and Economic Development, Michael Ring, while SuperMac’s owners Pat and Una McDonagh were joined by Fair City star Ryan Andrews and stars from the Mayo football team.

“I would like to commend Pat and Una on bringing jobs to the local community throughout the country,” said Ring. “Supermac’s is a brand recognised throughout Ireland for its continued commitment to its communities. I am delighted that this venture can continue with this new outlet in Mayo.”

The new Charlestown site has ample parking for buses, trucks and cars as well as a 24-hour fuel pump for off-peak travellers.
