Mark McCarthy and Marguerite O'Gorman have joined Unilever Food Solutions

Mark McCarthy

Mark McCarthy has been appointed business development chef for Unilever Food Solutions Ireland. Mark joins Unilever Food Solutions from Cuisine de France where he worked as category manager and, previously, product development manager.

Dublin born, Mark holds a postgraduate diploma in Culinary Innovation and Food Product Development from the Dublin Institute of Technology, along with an Honours degree in Culinary Arts, also received at DIT.  

Mark has gained much national and international experience, having worked in restaurants and hotels in America, as well as in the deluxe five-star Chateau Saint Martin – which holds two Michelin stars – on the French Riviera. Since joining Unilever in November 2010, Mark has developed and launched the Culinary Development Centre in Dublin. 

 

Marguerite O'Gorman

Marguerite O’Gorman

Marguerite O’Gorman has been appointed as customer marketing executive for Unilever Food Solutions Ireland. Marguerite joined the team in June 2011 and, in her new role, is responsible for the development and implementation of local activations for specific customers.

Marguerite’s experience includes her role as marketing executive at Coca-Cola Hellenic Ireland, where she worked in channel marketing and managed BTL activity. Marguerite also worked at Kraft Foods Ireland. Marguerite joins Unilever from Zurich Insurance.

Marguerite holds a BA in Business Marketing from Dublin Business School, and a Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Dublin-based Digital Marketing Institute. Marguerite is from Dublin.
