Food lovers were gathered at Musgrave MarketPlace in Ballymun this week for the Musgrave MarketPlace Summer Food Stories event. These events provide attendees with unique insights and inspiration for the next chapter in their own food journeys, by offering expert tips and hints from key tastemakers in the food industry.

The event was hosted by John Healy of TV3’s The Restaurant, while blogger and columnist Indy Power demonstrated summer inspired dishes from her bestselling book ‘The Little Green Spoon’. Taking inspiration from tropical climates, attendees were treated to dishes created using fresh ingredients from the Musgrave MarketPlace range. Menu options included Ahi Poke, Spicy Salmon Poke, Quinoa and Asian Slaw.

Also in attendance was expert food stylist Jette Virdi, who shared her top tips and tricks for food styling and the benefits it brings to businesses. Irish Chef Mark McCarthy was also on hand to give guests a taste of current and upcoming food trends for 2017.
