Moët & Chandon promotes Ice Impérial for summer
Moët & Chandon is encouraging consumers to enjoy its Ice Impérial champagne over ice as summer entertaining begins
29 June 2026
Moët & Chandon is encouraging consumers to serve its Ice Impérial champagne over ice this summer, challenging the traditional way champagne is typically enjoyed.
The producer also highlighted the correct pronunciation of its name, noting that Moët is pronounced “Moh-wett”, with the final “t” sounded due to founder Claude Moët’s Dutch heritage and the diaeresis over the “ë”.
Outdoor occasions
Designed specifically to be served over ice, Moët Ice Impérial offers a fruit-forward style intended for outdoor occasions such as poolside gatherings, rooftop events and garden parties.
The brand says the cuvée retains the signature characteristics of the Moët style while delivering a fresher, more intense drinking experience.
To serve the champagne, Moët & Chandon recommends using a large cabernet-style wine glass rather than a traditional flute, following what it calls the “7-12-3” method:
- Chill the bottle to 7°C
- Pour 12cl of Moët Ice Impérial
- Add three large ice cubes
The brand also suggests three optional garnishes to personalise the serve:
- A slice of fresh ginger
- A few lightly crushed mint leaves
- A twist of orange peel
Moët Ice Impérial has an RRP from €78.25 and is available through retailers including Brown Thomas, O’Briens Wine, Molloy’s Off Licence, Celtic Whiskey Shop Dublin, Higgins Clonskeagh, Goose Off Licence Drumcondra, Gibneys Malahide, Worldwide Wines Waterford, The Wine Centre Kilkenny, Collins SuperValu Carrigaline, Shiel’s Londis Malahide and Mace Straffan.
The champagne is also available by the glass at venues including Left Bank Bar Kilkenny, Edison Cork, Blue Haven Hotel Kinsale and DÍON Dublin.
