Londis has announced that it has extended its partnership with TV chef Catherine Fulvio, and will sponsor the upcoming new series of RTÉ’s Tastes Like Home cookery show for the fourth successive year.

The popular television series is presented as a traditional TV cooking show with a dash of travel, which sees Catherine visit six families from across the country who show her how to make their favourite ‘Tastes Like Home’ dishes. Catherine then jets off to locations around the world to recreate the dishes with friends and family living abroad.

The series is targeted primarily at foodies and families and those Irish based families chosen visit their local Londis store to stock up on the ingredients needed to prepare their signature ‘Tastes Like Home’ dish.

Londis has been on board with Tastes Like Home since it first began. Already this year, three families have been chosen to take part in the show, which will air in the autumn. A further three families will be chosen over the coming months.

Commenting on the partnership, Londis sales director Conor Hayes said the group is very pleased to continue the partnership. “We are delighted to be extending our partnering with Catherine Fulvio and RTÉ on what is a hugely popular series,” Hayes said, “bringing homely recipes to Irish families around the world.

“Much like Londis,” Hayes said, “Catherine values quality, local produce and bringing fresh contemporary ideas to the table, so it’s a perfect match for us to partner.”
