Londis has a very strong reputation for supporting worthy causes and charities.

Every two years Londis’ nationwide network of community retailers vote on a new official charity and raise funds for that charity through a series of fundraising activities and a donation on select Own Brand products.

Meaningful partnership

Conor Hayes, Londis sales director, recently handed over a cheque for a creditable €222,579.22 to Gillian Neary, head of fundraising with LauraLynn Hospice to officially close out the charity partnership.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the Londis retailers for their wonderful support over the two years of our charity partnership,” said Gillian Neary, head of fundraising, LauraLynn Hospice.

The funds raised have helped expand LauraLynn Hospice’s services to reach more children and families than ever before.

Making a difference

When presenting the cheque, Conor Hayes, sales director, Londis, said: “Londis is very proud that the fundraising initiatives of our network of community retailers have helped so many children and families who avail of the services provided by LauraLynn Hospice, and we would like to thank them for the great work they do. It is a wonderful organisation and has been a very successful charity partnership.”
